The packaging captures the fast, colorful action of Tails taking to the sky in his Tornado-1 plane! The front of the box shows Tails’ red and yellow biplane flying across a bright Sonic the Hedgehog landscape, with Tails riding the plane as it moves through the scene. The aircraft has a bold red body, yellow wings, black wheels, and a front-mounted shooter, giving it the look of a small action plane ready for battle. Below and to the side, the lime green, yellow, and black Egg Chaser Badnik is shown as the enemy build, with its round body, articulated arms, feet, and tanks making it look ready to chase after Tails. A small island build is also included, with green terrain, a transparent stand, a white cloud detail, and the Chaos Emerald, helping the scene feel like it is floating in the sky. The background consists of a colorful Sonic-style landscape with blue sky, clouds, green hills, and rounded game-like scenery that makes the action feel bright and energetic. On the top left corner, we have the classic LEGO logo, followed by the Sonic the Hedgehog logo. Near the side of the box, the set information shows the set number, name, age recommendation, and piece count. On the bottom right corner, we have an image of Sonic the Hedgehog jumping through a golden ring. In this case, the Tornado-1 is shown from a different angle, with Tails placed on top of the terrain build holding the Chaos Emerald and the Badnik jumping towards the unattended plane. The back also has insets that highlight the main play features: the airplane’s wings can move into different positions, Tails can sit in either the front or back seat, the front shooter can rotate and fire studs, and the Egg Chaser Badnik can be posed with its movable limbs. On the top left corner, we have the classic LEGO and Sonic the Hedgehog logos again. The right side of the box has a warning in several different languages that states that the set contains small parts and it is therefore not recommended for children younger than 3 years old, as well as the name of the set. The top of the box has the classic LEGO and Sonic the Hedgehog logos, an illustration of Tails, as well as an image of the Tails minifigure on a 1:1 scale. The bottom of the box is a tidy strip that contains the barcode as well as a few technical bits: the LEGO and Sonic the Hedgehog logos, the set number, the recycling instructions for the paper/cardboard elements of the set, copyright, and trademark notices
The build consists of 310 pieces in total, 1 minifigure, and is recommended for ages 8+. Once finished, you will have Tails’s plane, an enemy, and a small island mini-build. The set consists of 3 numbered bags and 2 instruction booklets.
