Swing into Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie action with this Spider-Man vs. Hulk Epic Clash (76350) building toy, a great gift for boys and girls ages 8 years old and up. Kids can play out endless explosive adventures with a cast of LEGO® ǀ Marvel characters including Spider-Man, Tarantula, Scorpion, Boomerang and Hotdog Vendor minifigures, plus a large Hulk figure. Transparent posing sticks attach to the office building walls to enable midair action. Pushing a trigger at the rear causes the front wall to blast apart, revealing the mighty Hulk. Kids then rebuild the wall for new adventures. Smaller builds and accessories that inspire imaginative role play include Spider-Man’s web, furniture, construction tools, a reception area, park area and a hotdog vendor’s cart, which opens to reveal sausages and bread.
The packaging captures the explosive action of the showdown between Spider-Man and Hulk at the Department of Damage Control building! The front of the box shows a tall gray office building in the middle of a city street, with the mighty Hulk bursting through the front façade and sending wall panels flying outward. At the top of the building, Scorpion is posed with his segmented green tail raised behind him, while Spider-Man swings in from the left on a white web rope, ready to join the fight. Around the building, the other characters are arranged to make the scene feel busy and chaotic: Tarantula appears in his dark red outfit with clawed accessories, Boomerang is shown with his white boomerangs and blue-and-white suit, and the Hotdog Vendor stands near the street-level hotdog cart. The build itself is mostly light bluish gray, with rows of transparent window panels, dark gray trim, tan ledges, reddish-brown interior details, and a large white spider web stretched across one side of the façade. In front of the building, there is also a small park area with a bench, tree, flowers, lamp, and pigeons, while the hotdog cart adds a bright street-scene detail. The background consists of an urban scene, with tall buildings and a blue sky fading behind the action. On the top left corner, we have the classic LEGO and Marvel logos, as well as the set’s age rating, number, name, and piece count. In the opposite corner, we have Spider-Man from his chest up in his classic red and blue suit. Above him, you will find the Spider-Man logo. At the bottom right corner, we have the character lineup in the set. These are, from left to right, Spider-Man, Hulk, Boomerang, Tarantula, Scorpion, and the Hotdog Vendor. The left of the box repeats the LEGO and Marvel logos on top of a dark superhero-style background, keeping the same Spider-Man branding and comic-book feel as the front. The back of the box shows the building similarly to the front, but with its façade intact. This time, we have Boomerang jumping on the top left corner, Spider-Man swinging in the top middle, trying to tach Tarantula, who is to his right. At the bottom of the building, the hotdog vendor is hiding behind the building, while Hulk is jumping to fight Scorpion. The right side of the box has the LEGO logo, as well as a warning that states that the set contains small parts and it is therefore not recommended for children younger than 3 years old in other languages. It also has the set’s name in different languages. The top of the box has the classic LEGO logo, as well as an image of Spider-Man’s minifigure on a 1:1 scale. The bottom of the box is a tidy strip that contains the barcode as well as a few technical bits: the LEGO and Marvel logos, the set number, the recycling instructions for the paper/cardboard elements of the set, and copyright and trademark notices.
The build consists of 534 pieces in total, 6 minifigures, 1 sticker sheet, and is recommended for ages 8+. Once finished, you will have 1 building and two side builds: a park bench and a hotdog cart. The set consists of 6 numbered bags and 1 instruction booklet.
