Boys and girls ages 7 and up will love building this LEGO® NINJAGO® Ninja Dragon Riyu’s Battle (71855) ninja toy and recreating scenes from season 4 of the NINJAGO Dragons Rising TV show. This impressive playset features a dragon toy with posable wings, legs, feet, arms, wrists, claws, head, tail and shoulders, and it’s armed with a large sword and shuriken weapon accessories. Kids can also make an exciting swap and use the weapons from the Cole’s Mission Mech & Dragon Zane (71854) set (sold separately). This LEGO dragon set comes with 4 minifigures: ninja warriors Arin and dragon form Nya and villains Mutation Monster and Loyalist. The LEGO NINJAGO range of make-believe toys for kids includes mechs, dragons and temples for fans to role-play ninja action.

The packaging displays Ninja Dragon Riyu in full action. The front of the box shows Riyu, a large sand blue, dark blue, white, and pearl gold dragon, leaping forward across the center of the artwork with its wings spread, claws extended, tail raised, and large golden sword in its mouth. Arin appears near the dragon in his orange and dark blue ninja outfit, while Dragon Nya is shown in her blue dragon form with wings and a katana. The villains, the Loyalist and Mutation Monster, confront the heroes from the lower part of the scene, with the Mutation Monster standing out in bright green and the Loyalist in dark red and black. The background features a dramatic green and yellow NINJAGO Dragons Rising setting, giving the scene a fast-moving battle atmosphere. On the top, there is a dark red stripe with the classic red LEGO logo to the left and the NINJAGO logo in white letters centered, with the subtitle “DRAGONS RISING” underneath. On the left side of the front, the box displays the suggested age group (7+), set number (71855), set name, and piece count (347), all in white letters. The right side of the box has a warning that states that the set contains small parts, and it is therefore not recommended for children younger than 3 years old in other languages. The back of the box shows another action scene with Riyu posed differently, emphasizing the dragon’s movement and play value. Riyu is shown with its articulated wings, legs, feet, arms, head, tail, shoulders, wrists, and claws arranged for battle, with Arin riding it and Dragon Nya behind them. The villains are in front of the dragon, about to enter battle. On the bottom left corner, there is an inset that highlights that Riyu’s weapon is interchangeable with the weapons from set 71854 (Cole’s Mission Mech & Dragon Zane). The left of the box shows Arin in an action pose against the same green, fantasy-style background. The top of the box shows the minifigure lineup, as well as a 1:1 scale image of Arin. The bottom side is a tidy strip that contains the barcode as well as a few technical bits, such as the place of manufacture, copyright and trademark notices.

The build consists of 347 pieces in total and is recommended for ages 7+. Once finished, you will have a brick-build Riyu and 4 minifigures. The set consists of 4 numbered bags.
