A fantastic Nintendo® character gift idea for boys, girls and gamers aged 8 and up, the set features 2 Blue Toad toy figures in blue pit crew uniform, plus a working car elevator, a choice of Standard Tires or Blue Standard Tires and tools. The B Dasher has a shell shooter, and builders can also attach the horn and engine from the Customization Machines. Add a LEGO Mario, LEGO Luigi or LEGO Peach figure (from sets 71439, 71440 or 71441 – sold separately) for interactive play, including digital reactions when driving, drifting and hovering in the B Dasher, and selecting horn and engine sounds from the Customization Machines.
The packaging captures the energy of a colorful Toad’s Garage pit stop, with the B Dasher being prepared for racing action by two Blue Toad pit crew figures. The front of the box shows the full garage setup arranged like a bright, playful Mario Kart service area. The white, blue, red, yellow, and black B Dasher is shown near the center with its rounded bodywork, blue wheels, and racing details, while the yellow and blue garage platform, tire station, tools, and customization machines surround it. The two Blue Toads appear in matching blue pit crew uniforms, posed as if they are helping tune up the kart and get it ready for the next race. The background uses a cheerful Mario Kart white and gray garage with a blue door and track-like scenery, making the whole scene feel like part of a racing course rather than a simple workshop. On the top left corner, we have the classic LEGO logo, followed by the Super Mario logo, and the Mario Kart branding nearby. Along the front, the set information is also visible, including the age rating, set number, and piece count. The box also highlights that interactive play is possible with the interactive figures of Mario, Luigi, or Peach (which are sold separately and are not included in the set). The left of the box continues the colorful LEGO Super Mario visual style, with branding elements and side-panel artwork connected to the Mario Kart theme, showing the B Dasher from a front angle. The back of the box shows another view of the same garage environment, now focusing more clearly on the play features. Namely, small inset images highlight the main functions, including placing the kart on the car lift, changing the tires, using the customization machines, and adding the interactive Mario, Luigi, or Peach figures (from other sets) for digital reactions to the action tiles. On the top left corner, we have the LEGO logo. The right side of the box has a warning in several different languages that states that the set contains small parts and it is therefore not recommended for children younger than 3 years old. The top of the box has the classic LEGO logo, the name of the set in several other languages, an image of both Blue Toads, as well as an image of one of them on a 1:1 scale. The bottom of the box is a tidy strip that contains the barcode as well as a few technical bits: the LEGO logo, Super Mario, Nintendo, and Mario Kart copyright and trademark information, the set number, recycling information, and other packaging notices.
The build consists of 390 pieces in total, 2 minifigures, and is recommended for ages 8+. Once finished, you will have Toad’s Garage and a kart (the B Dasher). The set consists of 5 numbered bags and 1 instruction booklet.
