Boys and girls ages 6 and up will love building this LEGO® NINJAGO® Lloyd vs. Earth Monster Spinner (71850) battle toy and recreating scenes from season 4 of the NINJAGO Dragons Rising TV show. Once it’s built, kids can push the launcher’s button to unleash the spinner toy into a quick spin and watch to see if the 2 elemental power parts fly off it when it hits its target. This great value small LEGO set comes with 2 minifigures: Lloyd with a sword accessory and the villainous Earth Monster, who can ride inside the spinner toy. Kids can enjoy countless hours of good vs. evil battles with these NINJAGO characters. The LEGO NINJAGO range of building sets and adventure toys includes detailed mechs, dragons and temples so fans can role-play awesome ninja action.
The packaging has an irregular shape. The front of the box shows a large illustration of the combat between the set’s characters. To the left, Lloyd is jumping into action, with his weapon in his left hand. To the right and almost to the center, the Earth Monster is riding its spinner, coming at full speed to attack Lloyd. The background is composed of yellow, orange, and red tones, simulating an explosion. On the bottom, there is a red stripe with the classic red LEGO logo to the left and the NINJAGO logo in white letters, centered, with the subtitle “DRAGONS RISING” in yellow letters underneath. The right bottom corner shows Lloyd’s face in his green outfit, with his bandana covering half of his face. The right side of the box is a continuation of the illustration on the front. On the back of the box, we see the actual elements of the set. On the back, we see the spinner base shooting the spinner, which is coming to the foreground with the Earth Monster in it. To its right, Lloyd is swinging his weapon towards the spinner. On the bottom right corner, we can see the instructions of how the spinner works in two steps: A) put the spinner between the rails of the spinner base and B) push the actuator of the spinner base to shoot the spinner forward. To the left, we see an image of Lloyd’s minifigure on a 1:1 scale. The left side of the box has a warning that states that the set contains small parts, and it is therefore not recommended for children younger than 3 years old in other languages. The bottom side is a tidy strip that contains the barcode as well as a few technical bits, such as the place of manufacture, copyright and trademark notices.
The build consists of 52 pieces in total and is recommended for ages 6+.
