Boys, girls and fans of the NINJAGO® Dragons Rising TV show ages 6 and up can enjoy hours of imaginative play with the LEGO® NINJAGO Kai’s Dragon Mech Battle Pack (71851) building set. This playset features a dragon mech toy with posable legs, large wings, claw hands and an upper body that rotates 360 degrees, plus a cockpit to place a minifigure inside. This great value ninja toy also comes with 3 minifigures: Kai with 2 sword accessories, Sora with 2 swords and an Earth Monster toy with clawhands, letting kids enjoy hours of adventures as they act out scenes from season 4 of NINJAGO Dragons Rising.
The packaging displays Kai’s Dragon Mech in full action. The front of the box shows the mech being piloted by Kai, reaching with its right claw to the Earth Monster, who is ready to defend himself with his weapon. To the right, Sora is running towards the Earth Monster with her katanas ready. The ground is black with some red and orange lines running through it, suggesting it is lava that is cooling off. The background is composed of dark green and yellow tones, suggesting the entrance of a cave. On the top, there is a dark red stripe with the classic red LEGO logo to the left and the NINJAGO in white letters centered, with the subtitle “DRAGONS RISING” underneath. In the middle and to the left, the box displays the set’s suggested age group (6+), set number (71851), name, and number of pieces (85), all in white letters. The right side of the box has a warning that states that the set contains small parts, and it is therefore not recommended for children younger than 3 years old in other languages. The back of the box shows another action scene. In it, Kai is jumping into the mech’s cockpit, while Sora is grabbing one of her katanas from the mech’s hip. To the right, the Earth Monster is standing on a rock platform, ready to jump into the air with its weapon in hand to attack our heroes. The left side of the box has the set’s name in different languages. The top of the box shows an image of Kai’s minifigure on a 1:1 scale. The bottom side is a tidy strip that contains the barcode as well as a few technical bits, such as the place of manufacture, copyright and trademark notices.
The build consists of 85 pieces in total and is recommended for ages 6+.
