Boys and girls ages 7 and up will love building this LEGO® NINJAGO® Cole’s Mission Mech & Dragon Zane (71854) ninja toy and recreating scenes from season 4 of the NINJAGO Dragons Rising TV show. This playset features a mech toy with posable head, arms, shoulder armor, fingers, legs and ankles, plus a cockpit to place a minifigure inside. The mech comes with 3 weapons: a sword, a staff and a spring-loaded blaster with 2 darts, which kids can swap with weapons from the Riyu Ninja Dragon (71855) set (sold separately). This NINJAGO toy also comes with 3 minifigures: Cole with a hammer accessory, Zane Dragon Form with a sword and an Acid Monster with a staff for role-play battles. The LEGO NINJAGO range of building sets for kids includes mechs, dragons and temples for fans to enjoy ninja action.
The packaging displays Cole’s Mech in full action. The front of the box shows Cole’s large black, dark tan, and orange mech standing at the center, armed with its weapons and facing the Acid Monster. Dragon Zane appears nearby in his white dragon form with wings and a sword, while the Acid Monster confronts the heroes with its staff. The background features a green, rocky landscape from the NINJAGO Dragons Rising world. On the top, there is a dark red stripe with the classic red LEGO logo to the left and the NINJAGO logo in white letters centered, with the subtitle “DRAGONS RISING” underneath. On the left side of the front, the box displays the suggested age group (7+), set number (71854), set name, and piece count (364), all in white letters. The right side of the box has a warning that states that the set contains small parts, and it is therefore not recommended for children younger than 3 years old in other languages. The back of the box shows another action scene. In it, Cole’s Mech is in the background, with Dragon Zane flying on the right corner. At the mech’s feet, the Acid Monster and Cole are fighting with their weapons. At the bottom, there are three insets that showcase some of the play features from the set. The first one highlights that the mech’s weapons are interchangeable with the weapons from set 71855 (Ninja Dragon Riyu’s Battle). The second one shows you how the weapons can be attached to the mech. The last one shows how the mech’s shooter can be fired. The left side of the box shows Cole in an action pose. The top of the box shows Dragon Zane battling the Acid Monster, as well as an image of Dragon Zane on a 1:1 scale. The bottom side is a tidy strip that contains the barcode as well as a few technical bits, such as the place of manufacture, copyright and trademark notices.
The build consists of 364 pieces in total and is recommended for ages 7+. Once finished, you will have Cole’s Mech and 3 minifigures. The set consists of 3 numbered bags.
