Ninja fans aged 7 and up can play out scenes from season 3 of the NINJAGO® Dragons Rising TV show with this LEGO® NINJAGO Arin’s Spinjitzu Battle Mech (71839) toy. This building set for kids features a NINJAGO mech with posable arms and legs, which can be tilted and twisted into different positions, a rotating torso, an opening chest to place a minifigure inside and 2 large sword accessories.
The packaging displays Arin’s Mech in full action. The front of the box shows Arin’s large mech lunging forward in a battle pose, with its orange, black, and pearl gold armor standing out against the dramatic blue and purple background. The mech is shown with wide, posable legs, broad armored feet, large claw-like hands, and two oversized weapons, including a long sword-like blade and a curved sickle weapon. The mech is facing the Spectral Dragonian Warrior, which has a ghostly lower body, red accents, and a curved blade weapon. The background suggests an intense fantasy battle setting, with glowing green energy, yellow light, and rocky terrain that makes the scene feel as if it is taking place near a cave entrance or mystical battlefield. On the top left corner, there is the classic red LEGO logo, and across the top is the NINJAGO logo in white letters with the “DRAGONS RISING” subtitle underneath. The front also shows the set’s suggested age group (7+), the set number (71839), the set’s name (Arin’s Spinjitzu Battle Mech), and the number of pieces (213). The bottom right corner shows the included minifigures: Arin, the Spectral Dragonian Warrior, and Baby Riyu (although he isn’t a minifigure himself). The right side of the box has a warning in different languages that states that the set contains small parts, and it is therefore not recommended for children younger than 3 years old. The back of the box has a dark red background, with the classic LEGO logo on the top left corner, and the text “CUSTOMIZE YOUR MECH” to its right. It describes how to combine the elements of this set’s mech with mechs from other sets (71806, Cole’s Elemental Earth Mech and 71808, Kai’s Elemental Fire Mech) by mixing and matching the mechs’ torso, arms, and legs. The left side of the box has a picture of Arin. The top of the box shows an image of Arin on a 1:1 scale. The bottom side is a tidy strip that contains the barcode as well as a few technical bits, such as the place of manufacture, copyright and trademark notices.
The build consists of 213 pieces in total and is recommended for ages 7+. Once finished, you will have Arin’s Mech and 2 minifigures. The set consists of 4 numbered bags.
