LEGO® Classic Creative Dinosaurs (11041) is a dinosaur toy for kids ages 5 and up featuring brick-built figures in blue, green, purple and brown. This endlessly versatile building gift for kids is a great toy for pretend play and developing boys’ and girls’ creative construction skills. The quick-to-build LEGO dinosaur toys include a T. rex, pterosaur, triceratops, brontosaurus and a baby T. rex in an egg. DIMENSIONS – The Tyrannosaurus rex figure stands over 3 in. (8 cm) tall and the baby T. rex stands over 1.5 in. (3 cm) tall. Other dimensions are not provided, but the completed pieces are all roughly the same height.
The front of the box shows most of the different things you can build with this set, including a blue brontosaurus, a green T. rex with a matching baby T. rex in an egg, an erupting volcano, a pink pterosaur, and a brown triceratops. The front of the box also shows piles of different colored pieces that you can use to creatively assemble your own unique dinosaurs.
The back of the box highlights that you can build figures according to the original directions, rebuild them (like making the brontosaurus chomp on one of the leaves of a palm tree!), or use your imagination to free build your own dinosaur creations! It also shows you that ideas for creative building are included in the instruction booklet.
The side panel shows three pictures: One of the triceratops in front of the erupting volcano, one of the pterosaur, and one of several different bricks you can use to build the creations inside.
The top panel shows the T. rex standing next to the baby T. rex (who is holding a bone), the brontosaurus chewing on a leaf of the palm tree, and pictures of a pink brick with an eye on it above another picture of two leaf-shaped tiles.
The build is 450 pieces in total and is for ages 5+.
