Based on an iconic Marvel Avengers movie battle scene, this buildable Super Hero set includes 2 big LEGO® figures: the Iron Patriot mech, which incorporates 4 stud shooters, and a fearsome Chitauri gorilla. Both are jointed for dynamic play. There are 7 minifigures: Iron Patriot MK2; Rocket with a large stud shooter; Thor with Stormbreaker; and 4 Chitauri, 2 of which have golden stud shooters. Other features include 2 jet scooters and a small environment for Thor, where spare shooter studs can be stored.
The packaging feels like the iconic final battle of Avengers: Endgame coming to life. The front of the box shows the battle between the Avengers of the set versus the Chitauri army. On the left side, we have Iron Patriot piloting his mech with Rocket Raccoon on his right shoulder, both shooting to the Chitauris across the battle field. In front of the mech, Thor is jumping from a power burst with Stormbreaker in his left hand, ready to wreak havoc on his enemies. To the right, we have 2 Chitauris trying to control the Chitauri Gorilla, who is going wild into battle. At the top, a Chitauri flying his jet scooter is coming into the battlefield. At the back, we see a small piece of terrain with a portal. The background consists of rocky terrain with a dark purple sky. The top left corner is decorated with the classic LEGO and Marvel logos. To the right, we have Iron Man from the chest up in his Mark 85 suit, showing the Infinity Stones fused to his right hand thanks to the nano particle technology. Above him, you will find the Infinity Saga logo. At the bottom and all the way to the bottom right corner, we have the minifigures in the set. These are, from left to right, Thor, Rocket Raccoon, Iron Patriot MK2, and 4 Chitauris. The left of the box repeats the LEGO and Marvel logos on top of black and white depictions of several Marvel superheroes in their minifigure form. The back of the box shows a very similar image to the front, except that in this case the Chitauri Gorilla has gone completely bananas and is out of control, while Iron Patriot is flying out of his mech to fight face to face. The rest of the Avengers are fighting other Chitauris. The right side of the box has the LEGO logo, as well as a warning that states that the set contains small parts and it is therefore not recommended for children younger than 3 years old in other languages. Similarly, the top of the box has the title of the set, as well as once again the LEGO and Marvel logos. It also has an image of Thor’s minifigure on a 1:1 scale. The bottom of the box is a tidy strip that contains the barcode as well as a few technical bits: the LEGO and Marvel logos, the set number, the recycling instructions for the paper/cardboard elements of the set, copyright, and trademark notices. The build consists of 373 pieces in total and is recommended for ages 8+.
