This Lego® Friends Friendship Movie Night (42642) toy playset is designed for ages 6 and up. This fun toy lets you build a movie night scene for two friends, Paisley and Aliya minidolls. Builders will create a popcorn machine where they use the lever to make the popcorn ‘pop’, build fancy drinks and comfortable seating. The main event will be shown on a lighted projector with options of film to view on the big screen. Batteries are included to light the film to see the image appear on the big screen. Builders will use their imagination to create stories for their friends.
This build is 154 pieces designed for ages 6 and up.
On the front of the box, Paisley, wearing khaki shorts, a yellow tank top, and blue flip flops, is enjoying the popcorn machine. There is a text bubble above her head with a picture of popcorn in the text bubble, as if she is asking Aliya if she wants some popcorn. Aliya is sitting in a yellow chair holding a fancy drink wearing blue pants and a pink top. A blue chair is empty. A lighted projector is showing a film strip with a woman’s face showing on the big screen. There are colored small round Legos to appear as lights in green and purple above the big screen and purple palm leaves on either side of the screen.
There is an advertisement on the front of the box that states “Watch Series Online” and another that states “Batteries Included” (of note, this is for the light in the projector).
On the back of the box, there are different scenes highlighting the different components of this build. One picture shows Aliya and Paisley both sitting in chairs enjoying an alien and spaceship film. Another picture shows Aliya and Paisley standing at the popcorn machine enjoying popcorn and drinks. The last picture depicts the minidolls sitting in chairs, Aliya is throwing popcorn in the air while Paisley watches. There is a QR code in the top right corner of the back of the box to scan to “Watch Series Online.” This set can be opened from the back by holding your thumb in the middle on the right side of the box then pulling the flap from the bottom up.
In the box, there are 4 bags of pieces, one 4 by 10 green plate, one 4 by 8 lime green plate, one sticker sheet, 2 instruction booklets, and one instructional guide for placing the button battery. This last guide has warnings about button or coin cell batteries.
